Chris Young is quickly characterizing himself as a newcomer who honors country music while adding a fresh new outlook on the genre's legacy. As part of the Y100 Country Series presented by Nicolet National Bank, Young will be performing at the Meyer Theatre Saturday, Apr. 3 at 8 p.m. Young is known for his rich, warm baritone and realistic, relatable lyrics. Willie Nelson joins Young on his album as the two sing "Rose in Paradise." Young has won the hearts of many with his youthful enthusiasm and seasoned musicianship. His self-titled RCA Records debut project made him country’s best-selling new male artist of 2006 and earned him a nod in the Academy of Country Music’s Top New Male Vocalist category.
