Susan Stockton, the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center president, was elected to serve as a chairperson on the board of the International Society for the Performing Arts (ISPA). The ISPA is a nonprofit organization composed of members from more than 50 countries that form a network of performance arts professionals working toward the goal of strengthening several aspects within the arts. Stockton's appointment began Jan. 14, 2010 and will continue for 3 years. As board chair, Stockton will guide the strategic development of the organization. She will also lead the 25 person international board in the governance of the organization. Stockton will have the pleasure of working closely with chief executive officer David Baile. Stockton has been involved with the ISPA since 1995. She is greatly admired by her peers and has served as president of the Fox Cities PAC since Sept. 2003.
