The H.S. Group’s Excellence in Talent Management Series will continue in April with Surviving & Thriving in a Man’s World. The series was developed to assist in creating and fostering a workplace where employees can flourish and organizations can reap the financial rewards.
Surviving & Thriving in a Man’s World will be offered at The H.S. Group’s Green Bay office, 2611 Libal Street,on Tuesday, April 6, 2010, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

Hospice is hosting A Toast to Life…an evening for hospice at Pullman’s Restaurant at Trolley Square. The elegant evening will include fine wines presented by the experts at Nan Sorella’s, delicious foods, live jazz featuring artists from Lawrence University, and an exciting silent auction. On the auction block will be some of the best things in life including vacation getaways to the Sonoma, California wine country and the Arnold Palmer Bay Hill Club & Lodge in Orlando, Florida. The Women’s Fund of the Fond du Lac Area Foundation will be hosting is sixth annual luncheon. This year’s theme is “Connecting Women . . . Creating Change”. The Women’s Fund invites the public to attend its luncheon at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 8 at the Holiday Inn, Fond du Lac. Registration and social will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. followed by lunch and a brief program. The Women’s Fund is a permanent endowment established to fund programs and projects that support women and girls in our community. The Women’s Fund grants focus on education, leadership and economic self-sufficiency, which have been identified as critical components in helping women to succeed. Fiddler on the Roof will be at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center for eight performances May 11-16, 2010. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 19 at 10 a.m. and start at $47. There will be a cookie swap and/or a seed swap at the same time. It’s a great opportunity to meet other gardening enthusiasts and share stories about your own gardening successes!
