This month Women magazine visits Green Bay's Broadway for its Women Who Inspire feature. The business owners and employees on this street give the business district an exciting vibe. Here is what Holly Hebel of Whitedog Roadhouse Black Cat Cafe has to say:

What made you choose Broadway? I like being along the river in a historical district.

What do you like about being on Broadway? I enjoy being on Broadway because it reminds me of a small, close-knit town.
I enjoy being in a neighborhood that has independent business owners and supports small business owners. Broadway is a community of creative and friendly people that help to create a positive atmosphere for myself and my customers.

What do you enjoy about being a business owner? I enjoy the challenges presented to me every day.
The ability to be my own boss and run my business the way I want to.
Another perk of owning my own business is meeting new and interesting people every day.

What advice do you have for other women who are looking into business ownership? One of the best pieces of advice that I can offer would be to use all of the resources that your community has to offer. Look for guidance in other women business owners. Also, remember marketing is key.
Make sure you understand and utilize all the marketing tools available in your community. As an owner you need to make sure you are well known by community resources such as bankers and accountants. They are some of the most important people out there to help keep your business going.
Most of all, don't be afraid to take a risk.
