The Women Who Inspire feature would like to emphasize the 'amazing' abilities of local chiropractors. Today we present Cindy Scherer:

What made you become a chiropractor? When I was 13 years old I was very ill, and my illness persisted for six months.
I sought medical advice numerous times to no avail, and one day one of my uncles suggested that my parents take me to a chiropractor. After being examined, X-rayed and diagnosed chiropractically, I began a treatment program to relieve the causes of my condition.
After two weeks of treatment, I began to feel so much better because my body was healing. The terrible symptoms I had been experiencing were gone within a month.
I told my dad on the way home one evening after being adjusted that I didn't know how it was working to make me better, but it certainly was.
I decided then and there that I wanted to be a chiropractor. I have been living my dream ever since.

What is the best part of your job? Being able to help so many people when they have lost hope of ever feeling good again.
Natural health care is truly amazing.

What is the most interesting case you've worked on? Some of the most interesting and rewarding cases I've worked on are with women who have not been able to get pregnant.
Helping women achieve this incredible miracle through chiropractic and natural means is phenomenal.

This is the “If Money Were No Object” note: (wishes you would grant if you could)
Examples: If money were no object I would whisk you away to a tropical island where we would have our own private cabana on the beach forever. Maybe someday…I love you.
If money were no object, I would buy you seats at every Nascar event and we would stay at the best hotel in town with room service every day! Maybe someday…I love you.

A love note really does make someone’s day. It can be as simple as a sticky note, or perhaps you have some cards or beautiful paper that you want to use. The point is…make the person feel loved. Places to put your love note include; on the remote, in a favorite cup, the bathroom mirror, the computer screen, a coat pocket, rearview mirror, water bottle, mobile phone, book being read or lunch bag. Love notes lead up to the presentation of your full love letter on February 14th. thinkmarriage.org is celebrating National Marriage Week February 7th -14th with love notes leading up to a love letter.
